Anthony
Anthony founded Sounding Board Project with a simple philosophy: every business owner deserves more than someone who prepares tax returns and lodges compliance documents. They deserve a trusted adviser who takes the time to understand their business, provides practical guidance, and becomes a genuine part of their journey.
For Anthony, exceptional client service has always been at the heart of everything SBP does. He believes the best outcomes come from building long-term relationships, understanding each client’s goals and challenges, and being available when they need support—not just at tax time. Whether it’s navigating day-to-day business decisions, planning for future growth or solving complex problems, Anthony enjoys helping clients move forward with confidence and clarity.
Known for his approachable style and practical mindset, Anthony has built a team that shares the same commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences and advice that goes beyond compliance. His goal is for every client to feel supported, informed and confident that they have a trusted partner in their corner.
Outside the office, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and children, all things basketball and great food and wine. One day, he’d love to visit the towns in Lithuania and Ireland where his grandparents were born. While he doesn’t mind tackling complex business challenges, spiders are an entirely different story—and he’s also known to be a pretty good cook.
Sharinne
As Operations Manager, Sharinne is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for both clients and the team. She believes that great service isn’t just about solving today’s problem—it’s about building efficient systems, refining processes and continually looking for better ways to support businesses as they grow.
With a background spanning industry and public practice, Sharinne combines practical accounting knowledge with a genuine love of business operations. Whether she’s helping a client get the most from Xero, streamlining internal processes, supporting the team or finding solutions to complex challenges, her focus is always on making things simpler, more efficient and easier for everyone involved.
Known for her attention to detail and high standards, Sharinne takes pride in delivering work that is not only technically accurate but also polished, thoughtful and easy for clients to understand. She enjoys turning ideas into practical improvements and believes the little things often make the biggest difference to the overall client experience.
Outside of work, family and friends are at the heart of everything she does, and weekends are usually spent making memories with loved ones. She’s still on the lookout for the hobby that truly sticks—having tried everything from writing short stories and scratch art to LEGO—but travelling through Europe, particularly visiting the Netherlands where her parents were born, remains high on her bucket list. And if there’s ever a finger-whistling competition, she’s quietly confident she’ll be hard to beat.
Brad
Brad specialises in company and trust administration, corporate compliance and helping keep the behind-the-scenes details running smoothly. From establishing new entities and managing structural changes to supporting compliance requirements, he works closely with the team to ensure clients receive accurate, efficient and practical support.
He enjoys tackling complex problems and is always looking for opportunities to learn something new. Known for his attention to detail and love of a good spreadsheet, Brad has a knack for bringing order to even the most complicated administrative processes.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys gardening, caring for his ever-growing collection of houseplants and discovering new interests. He also has a passion for languages and human rights, and many people are surprised to learn he studied linguistics and archaeology at university. One day, he’d love to travel through Europe and become fluent in Dutch.
Lisa
Lisa is often the first point of contact for clients and plays an important role in creating the welcoming, responsive experience that Sounding Board Project is known for. From answering enquiries and coordinating documentation to keeping clients informed of important deadlines, she helps ensure everything runs smoothly and clients feel supported every step of the way.
Known for her friendly nature, organisation and attention to detail, Lisa enjoys being part of a supportive team and helping make life a little easier for both clients and colleagues. She takes pride in creating a positive experience through clear communication, reliability and a genuine willingness to help.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys crafting, reading and a good coffee. Most weekends are spent making memories with her young son, usually cheering him on from the sidelines at soccer. One day she’d love to explore the history and culture of the Netherlands—and while she claims not to have any hidden talents, she’s pretty good at planning a great party!
David
David works closely with business owners to provide practical advice, proactive support and ongoing guidance as they navigate the challenges of running a business. From tax compliance and financial statements to tax planning, cash flow forecasting and business structuring, he helps clients make informed decisions and stay focused on achieving their goals.
Building strong client relationships is one of David’s favourite parts of the role. He enjoys being a trusted point of contact, helping take the stress out of tax and compliance while providing insights that support business growth and long-term success.
Outside of work, David is a passionate AFL fan and enjoys good food and wine. You’ll often find him on the football field on weekends, and while he’s already conquered a bungee jump in Croatia, skydiving is still high on his bucket list. He also considers himself a talented poker player—although whether everyone agrees is another story!
Valentina
Valentina enjoys helping business owners understand their numbers and gain confidence in the financial side of their business. She supports clients with tax returns, reconciliations and liaising with the ATO, while also providing practical guidance that helps businesses stay organised, compliant and ready for growth.
With particular strengths in Xero, system integrations and reconciliations, Valentina enjoys helping clients streamline their bookkeeping and get the most from their accounting software. She has extensive experience supporting businesses in the hospitality and retail industries, including stock management systems, and takes pride in finding practical solutions that make running a business a little easier.
Outside of work, Valentina loves spending time with her husband, daughter and their dog, Theo, often enjoying walks along the beach together. She’s also a passionate Flamenco dancer and many people are surprised to learn that Spanish is her first language. One day, she’d love to experience the Northern Lights from a glass igloo in Finland.
Andrew
Andrew enjoys helping business owners look beyond compliance by providing practical advice, financial modelling and strategies that support growth. With a passion for automation, systems and technology, he’s always looking for smarter ways to streamline processes and turn complex data into meaningful insights.
Known around the office as the Excel guru, Andrew has a knack for building financial models, solving technical challenges and making software work harder for clients. He enjoys finding efficient solutions that save time and help businesses make confident, informed decisions.
Outside of work, Andrew’s weekends are mostly spent keeping up with his three children and their ever-growing list of activities. He’s also a Formula 1 enthusiast, has a longstanding love/hate relationship with Carlton Football Club, and many people are surprised to learn he’s a qualified baker. While most of his original bucket list has already been achieved, he admits it’s probably time to start writing a new one.
Madhan
Madhan supports the Sounding Board Project team with financial reporting, compliance and the preparation of accurate accounting information. Working closely with the team, he helps ensure clients receive timely, reliable outcomes while contributing to a wide range of accounting and advisory work.
He enjoys solving complex problems and finding practical solutions through financial analysis. With strengths in financial reporting, tax and compliance, and adapting to the ever-evolving accounting landscape, Madhan is passionate about delivering work that helps clients make informed business decisions with confidence.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Madhan on the cricket field or spending time with family and friends. A lifelong cricket enthusiast, one of his goals is to watch matches at iconic grounds such as Lord’s and the MCG. People are often surprised to learn he’s ambidextrous and can both bat and bowl with either hand—and before accounting, he enjoyed writing film scripts and screenplays.
Manoj
Manoj supports the Sounding Board Project team with BAS preparation, tax returns, financial reporting and year-end compliance, helping ensure clients’ financial information is accurate and up to date. He enjoys bringing order to complex financial records and takes pride in solving challenging accounting problems with practical, reliable solutions.
His strengths include tax compliance, account reconciliations and a keen eye for detail, allowing him to identify issues before they become bigger problems. Manoj enjoys the analytical side of accounting and is always looking for ways to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Outside of work, Manoj enjoys spending time with family, reading about finance and personal development, and keeping up with capital markets. Many people are surprised to learn he also enjoys creative writing, and his ability to explain complex concepts clearly makes teaching one of his hidden talents. One day, he’d love to visit Australia and experience the places he’s spent so much time working with from afar.
Safina
Safina supports the Sounding Board Project team with bookkeeping, BAS preparation and year-end compliance, helping clients stay organised and up to date with their financial obligations. She enjoys working with numbers, improving processes and ensuring every detail is accurate, making her a valuable part of delivering efficient, reliable outcomes for clients.
With strengths in bookkeeping, BAS preparation and account reconciliations, Safina is known for her attention to detail and methodical approach. She takes pride in producing accurate work and helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Away from work, Safina enjoys sketching while listening to music, reading novels and creating beautiful Mehendi (henna) artwork. She’s also hoping to tick bungee jumping and scuba diving off her bucket list one day. While she admits she’s tone deaf, she’s determined to keep working on her singing—and people are often surprised by her interest in manifestation and chakras.
